GUILDFORD PUBS AND BARS   THE POPULARITY OF BEER

There seems to be an infinite number of pubs in the Guildford area - so we've started with a selection.  Let us know if we've missed any of the best pubs in Guildford.

Beer is the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverage and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea.  The basic ingredients of beer are water, a starch source that can be fermented, a brewer's yeast to produce the fermentation and a flavouring such as hops.

The Guildford pub bombings occurred on 5 October 1974.
